Lily Allen Promotes Her New 'West End Girl' Album by Selling USBs Shaped Like Sex Toy

Lily Allen has introduced a new set of USB drives featuring tracks from her album West End Girl, though their unusual design might raise eyebrows at mainstream retailers. Revealed on Instagram on Wednesday, December 3, Allen posed with one of the blue, polka-dotted drives, which are crafted in the shape of a sexual novelty item. In her caption, she casually noted, limited merch drop, live now.

On her official website, each flash drive is priced at $33.99, with a note clarifying, This product is a novelty USB device intended for data storage only. This release comes roughly six weeks after Allens first album in seven years hit the market.

While Allen has mentioned that West End Girl blends elements of fantasy and personal experience, fans and critics widely believe that her recent divorce from actor David Harbour heavily influenced the albums themes. In one particularly candid song, Pussy Palace, Allen references discovering hidden sexual items belonging to her ex-partner. Other tracks explore situations where a partner pushed for an open relationship, only to violate the agreed boundaries, resulting in a painful split.

The singer and the Stranger Things actor were married for four years before separating in February. Speaking about the creative process, Allen told CBS Mornings in November, I wasnt even really thinking about it as, like, a commercial endeavor. It was an act of desperation Since Ive put it out, its felt completely and utterly liberating.

David Harbour has not publicly responded to the album.
