Listen now to Lainey Wilson's collaboration with Aerosmith and Yungblud: 'Wild Woman'

Rock legend Steven Tyler and Lainey Wilson shared the stage at the 6th Jam For Janie Grammy Awards Viewing Party at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on February 2, 2025.

A fresh take on the song "Wild Woman," originally by Aerosmith and British artist Yungblud, has been released, now featuring Lainey Wilson's distinctive vocals. Tyler and Yungblud, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, invited Wilson to collaborate after her standout performance with Tyler on the Aerosmith classic "Dream On" during his annual Jam for Janie benefit in February.

Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry contributed new guitar elements to the updated track. Wilson shared with Apple Musics Zane Lowe, "They reached out about a month ago. It was a fast process, but once I heard the song, I knew exactly what I wanted to bring. They gave me creative freedom, so I just went for it."

Wilson also expressed her excitement about performing the song live, saying, "Im ready to do it live with them. Im like, 'Where, when? Lets make it happen!'"

Yungblud commented, "Having Lainey Wilson on this track is amazing. Ive admired her for some time. Her story is inspiring, and we needed a female vocalist who could deliver this song with authenticity. We needed a wild womanand she absolutely is one!

The new version, "Wild Woman (Lainey Wilson Version)", is now available on all digital music platforms.
