Meghan Markle's Sister Criticizes Duchess's Statement About Contacting Their Father After His Leg Amputation

Following reports that Meghan Markle allegedly reached out to her father, Thomas Markle, during his emergency leg amputation in the Philippines, her half-sister has publicly expressed doubt over the claim. Samantha Markle, 61, took to X to describe the story as potentially a publicity stunt amid public attention.

In one of her posts, Samantha wrote, Believe it if hes flown on a private jet and placed in one of the top hospitals in the United States for care. Until then, dont hold your breath. She further suggested that Meghan, 44, may not have made any contact with their 81-year-old father, stating, Houston theres been no contact Time to stop the PR nonsense Medusa.

She also criticized Meghans public persona and past actions, remarking, Are we shocked? Disaster tourism much? No surprise.

When UK journalist Dan Wootton speculated that Meghan might have shared the story to draw attention away from her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, Samantha responded, Exactly, unless they prove intent with action and provide the best possible medical care.
