Miley Cyrus's 4-Carat Diamond Ring Sparks Maxx Morando Engagement Speculation—Take a Closer Look at the Unique Design

Miley Cyrus and Maxx Morando have fueled speculation about a possible engagement after four years together. The singer was seen flaunting a sparkling diamond on her left-hand ring finger at the Avatar: Fire and Ash world premiere.

The eye-catching piece is believed to be around four carats, according to jewelry experts. On December 1, 33-year-old Cyrus and 27-year-old musician Morando appeared at the premiere, prompting fans and media to wonder if wedding bells are on the horizon. Neither Cyrus nor Morandos representatives have confirmed any engagement.

For the event, Cyrus wore a dazzling sequin Gucci gown and positioned her left hand prominently over Morandos chest, highlighting the ring. Observers noted the diamond has a distinctive east-west, cushion-cut design.

Kegan Fisher, co-founder of the fine jewelry brand Frank Darling, described the ring as a "chunky, east-west elongated cushion set in a yellow gold bezel" and estimated it to be approximately four carats. Fisher added, "Its difficult to gauge color precisely because yellow gold settings can warm up the appearance. Cushion cuts also tend to look smaller from the top due to their depth. Taking that into account, this stone appears to be around four carats."

The ring aligns with current celebrity trends, favoring gold settings and elongated cushion cuts, similar to the style seen on Dua Lipa.

Cyrus and Morando were first linked romantically in November 2021 at the Gucci "Love Parade" show. Initially, it was unclear whether their connection was friendship or romance, but by December, they were spotted cozying up during the taping of Cyruss New Years Eve Party special. While they have generally kept a low profile, they have appeared together at multiple red carpet events, including the 2025 Oscars and the Vanity Fair Oscar Party that followed.

Previously, Cyrus was married to actor Liam Hemsworth from 2018 until their divorce was finalized in 2020. She was also romantically linked to Kaitlynn Carter and Cody Simpson before her relationship with Morando.
