‘Mormon Wives’ Parents Confront Ex Dakota with Harsh Words during Reunion'

Taylor Frankie Pauls parents openly addressed their daughters former partner, Dakota Mortensen, over rumors of an affair involving a family friend during the intense season three reunion of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. The special aired on Hulu Thursday at midnight, bringing the cast together for a tense one-hour discussion.

Mortensen entered the reunion stage late after insisting that the Moms of MomTok leave, leaving Paul visibly upset behind the scenes. As he explained the alleged affair that reportedly occurred while Paul was pregnant with their son, the atmosphere grew increasingly strained.

Paul, joined by castmates Mayci Neeley and Layla Taylor, eventually returned to the stage to respond. Her mother, Liann May, and stepfather, Jeremy May, also joined the confrontation, adding their own strong opinions.

When host Stassi Schroeder asked Mortensen to apologize, he admitted to Pauls parents that he messed up and expressed regret, saying he was truly sorry for the pain caused by his actions.

Liann May then spoke directly to Mortensen, calling his behavior sickening and criticizing his dishonesty. She emphasized that the deepest hurt came from his betrayal of both her daughter and grandson, Ever. Hes the one whos going to bear the consequences of these poor decisions, she said.

Jeremy May followed, rejecting Mortensens statements entirely and calling them nonsense. Paul herself shared her remorse, saying, This is on me for choosing him to be Evers dad. I regret having a child with this person.

The reunion escalated when Mortensen, feeling that Paul was questioning his parenting, stormed off the set in frustration. Footage captured him demanding the microphone be removed and declaring, I dont want anything to do with it.

This confrontation adds another chapter to the turbulent history between Paul and Mortensen, who began dating in 2022 after her divorce and a widely publicized swinging scandal within the MomTok community. The couple separated in December 2024 following the birth of their son but have continued to co-parent amid ongoing tension.
