Pedro Pascal reflects on his enduring friendship with Sarah Paulson: 'I wouldn't be who I am without you'

Pedro Pascal paid a moving tribute to his longtime friend Sarah Paulson during her Hollywood Walk of Fame celebration, even though he could not attend the December 2 ceremony in person. Amanda Peet read Pascals heartfelt words to the audience, conveying his deep admiration and love for Paulson.

Pascal, 50, and Paulsons friendship stretches back to 1993, when both were 18 and living in New York City. Despite missing the event, Pascals message made his presence felt. Peet shared his words: Missing this makes it too hard to find words ... Im so proud of you. More, more, I love you more.

In his written tribute, Pascal expressed the depth of their connection: To Sarah, Ill just say there is no me without you. Without you, I wouldnt believe in the moon or the sun in the sky. You are the opening in the road. You are the decorated forest, and most importantly, youre my friend, and Im yours eternally. He concluded with a declaration of pride and love: Im so proud of you. More, more, I love you more. Period.

The actor reflected on their early days together, long before either became a household name. In a 2014 interview, he recalled their first meeting: I met you, Sarah Paulson, in September of 1993, my first month in New York City. I was really lucky because my first friend at NYU lived in Brooklyn, Kristen, and went to high school with you, so your group kind of adopted me.

Pascal reminisced about shared experiences, including a memorable trip to see the film Fearless with a group of friends: There were eight of us sitting next to each other and, as I remember, we were all sobbing by the end of it. Paulson recalled the same moment, saying, Yeah, Fearless. Ill never forget it as long as I live.

Through decades of friendship, Pascals tribute highlights the enduring bond between the two actors, emphasizing the profound impact Paulson has had on his life.
