‘Please Tell Me It’s Not True’: Leonardo DiCaprio Reacts to Timothée Chalamet’s Head Shave

Timothe Chalamet recently shared how Leonardo DiCaprio responded to his daring new buzzcut. In a recent chat, the Dune star recounted the message he received from DiCaprio and also mentioned his all-time favorite actors.

Chalamet Recalls DiCaprios Response

During a fast-paced interview with Lucid Motors, Chalamet answered questions from NBA players Josh Hart and Jalen Brunson while joining British racing driver Ben Collins for a track ride. When Hart asked who was the most memorable person to receive a text from, Chalamet immediately named Leonardo DiCaprio.

He shared the humorous message he got from DiCaprio just before the interview: He fried me today. He said, I heard you shaved your head. Say it aint so. The text referred to Chalamets new buzzcut, which he revealed in October after completing filming as Paul Atreides in Denis Villeneuves Dune: Part 3. Fans were surprised to see him part ways with his signature curls.

The Friendship Between Chalamet and DiCaprio

DiCaprio and Chalamet have kept in touch since appearing together in Adam McKays 2021 dark comedy, Dont Look Up. In a previous interview, Chalamet shared advice he received from DiCaprio: No superhero movies, no hard drugs. Chalamet admitted he followed the guidance, while noting that The Dark Knight, a superhero film, inspired him to pursue acting. He added that he would consider such projects if the script and director were exceptional.

Chalamets Favorite Actors

In the same Lucid Motors interview, Chalamet named his top actors: Denzel Washington is the GOAT, Christian Bale is the second GOAT, and Joaquin Phoenix is the strange GOAT.

Upcoming Projects

Fans are eagerly anticipating Chalamets next project, Marty Supreme, set to release this December.
