Post Malone Set to Perform Super Bowl Weekend Concert Featuring New Music 'Allegedly'

If youre not performing at the Super Bowl and dont want to compete with Bad Bunny, the smart move is to host a major concert just before the big game. Post Malone is doing exactly that with a Bud Lightbacked event called Post Malone & Buddies on February 6 at Fort Mason in San Francisco. The identities of his buddies havent been officially revealed.

The Super Bowl, featuring Bad Bunnys halftime show, will occur two days later on February 8, roughly an hour away from Post Malones concert, allowing fans to potentially attend both events.

Adding to the excitement, Post Malone has promised that new music will be featured at the show. He told Billboard, Weve been working extremely hard on new songs. We currently have 45 tracks in progress. Its just a matter of finishing them. The schedule has been intense, but there will be new music by then allegedly.

He playfully hedged his statement, adding, Allegedly a hundred percent maybe, definitely.

Last year, Post Malone performed America the Beautiful before the Super Bowl in Las Vegas. Around this years Super Bowl in New Orleans, he headlined both YouTubes Tailgate Concert and a Bud Light Backyard show. Most recently, he appeared at the Thanksgiving halftime show for the Cowboys-Chiefs game.

When asked about the possibility of headlining a Super Bowl halftime show himself, Post Malone admitted he would love the opportunity, acknowledging the prestige of the event that Bad Bunny is performing this year.
