Rebecca Gayheart Shares a Kiss with Businessman Peter Morton Following Decision to Cancel Divorce from Eric Dane, Who is Battling ALS

Rebecca Gayheart, 54, was spotted enjoying time in Beverly Hills with businessman Peter Morton, 78, known as the son of the founder of Mortons Steakhouse. Photographs obtained by the Daily Mail on Thursday, December 4, captured the actress sharing a kiss and a warm embrace with Morton outside.

The duo has been noticed together on several occasions over the years, including meetings in March and April, according to reports. For her evening outing, Gayheart opted for a fashionable look, pairing a polka-dot dress with a blazer, tights, and pumps. Morton kept it casual in a dark sweater and pants, completing his outfit with white sneakers.

Although Gayheart shared a romantic moment with Morton, she remains legally married to actor Eric Dane, with whom she has two daughters, Billie, 15, and Georgia, 13. Gayheart had filed for divorce from the Greys Anatomy star in 2018 but withdrew the petition in March 2025 after about seven years of separation, as revealed in court records obtained by People.

In April, Dane disclosed his diagnosis with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), shedding light on his health challenges. During a June interview with Diane Sawyer, he spoke about his ongoing relationship with Gayheart, stating, I call Rebecca. I talk to her every day. We have managed to become better friends and better parents. And she is probably my biggest champion, my most stalwart supporter, and I lean on her.

Earlier this month, Gayheart shared her perspective on co-parenting with Dane, saying, Weve been separated for eight years. The kids live with me 100 percent of the time. Im showing up and Im trying to be there for them.
