Gabriel Basso returns as an FBI agent caught in a sprawling conspiracy in the action-packed series The Night Agent. Joining him in season 3 are Stephen Moyer, Genesis Rodriguez, and Jennifer Morrison. The new season is set to debut on February 19, 2026.

After the intense events of season 2, Peter Sutherland faces fresh challenges as he navigates moral dilemmas and dangerous conspiracies. The series follows the young FBI agent as he confronts assassins, bomb threats, high-level political schemes, and personal betrayals, including complicated ties to his own father.

Recap of Season 2

Season 2 escalated the stakes with Peter preventing a chemical weapons attack at the United Nations. However, his actions had unintended consequences, including political fallout from a deal with billionaire Jacob Monroe and a new arrangement with the FBI to act as a double agent. The season concluded with Peter ending his relationship with tech prodigy Rose Larkin, who returned to California to rebuild her life.

Peter now faces the aftermath of his previous choices and works as a mole within Monroe's organization. The first teaser, released on December 4, 2025, showcases Peter rescuing the Treasury agent at a soccer stadium and engaging in high-octane action sequences including car chases, fights, and fire-filled confrontations. Stephen Moyer appears in a new role, questioning Peters identity, to which he responds, Im a night agent.

Returning and New Cast

Gabriel Basso leads the returning cast as Peter, joined by Amanda Warren (Catherine Weaver), Albert Jones (FBI Director Aiden Mosley), Ward Horton (Richard Hagan), and Louis Herthum (Jacob Monroe). Fola Evans-Akingbola returns as Secret Service agent Chelsea Arrington and will have a larger role this season. New additions include Suraj Sharma, Jennifer Morrison, Genesis Rodriguez, Callum Vinson, and David Lyons.

Release Date and Streaming

The Night Agent season 3 premieres on Thursday, February 19, 2026, exclusively on Netflix.
