In a startling incident, Rick Hilton, husband of Kathy Hilton, took action during a recent attempted burglary at their Beverly Hills home. The event unfolded while the reality star was away attending BravoCon, leaving Rick to face the intruders alone.
According to Kathy Hilton, three burglars forced their way into the property, smashing glass to gain entry. Rick immediately armed himself with a shotgun to protect their home. They came in, broke the glass, and it was raining, and our security guy was down at the guest house, Kathy recounted in an interview with Extra.
Rick confronted the intruders directly, reportedly shouting at them to leave and warning that the police were on the way. The burglars had kicked in the master bedroom door, escalating the threat. Moments later, the couples security personnel arrived, prompting the thieves to flee. Rick then discharged his shotgun into the air from his office to further deter them.
The dramatic confrontation has led the Hiltons to implement more rigorous security measures at their residence. Kathy explained that any attempt to tamper with the house now triggers an immediate alarm system, and Rick remains ready to defend their home if necessary.
This incident comes during a weekend when several homes of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars were targeted, including Sutton Stracke, who lost most of her luxury handbag collection to thieves.
