Tim Pool stated that his residence was targeted in a late-night shooting on December 5. In a post shared on X, he explained that a vehicle approached his property and began firing before leaving the scene. Pool lives in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia.
According to Pool, no injuries were reported. He noted that his security personnel are reviewing footage and preparing to forward their findings to law enforcement authorities.
Pool wrote that incidents like this are the cost of speaking out against wrongdoing, adding in a follow-up message that he believes the attack may have been meant to intimidate him. He also mentioned that his homes security gate and armed staff might have prevented a more serious situation.
Support quickly came from figures within his political community. Megyn Kelly expressed sympathy, calling the event awful and saying she was praying for Pools safety. Marjorie Taylor Greene described the attack as terrifying, urging unity against politically motivated intimidation regardless of who is targeted.
The shooting at Pools property is one of several politically driven acts of violence reported in 2025. In September, conservative media figure Charlie Kirk died after being shot during an event at Utah Valley University. Earlier in June, a man impersonating law enforcement attacked two Democratic lawmakers and their spouses in Minnesota, killing one couple and injuring the other.
