Rosé, Bruno Mars, and Kendrick Lamar Lead Apple Music's Global Year-End Chart

Apple Music has unveiled its year-end global rankings for 2025, highlighting the tracks that dominated streaming worldwide. The most popular songs of the year were Ros and Bruno Mars APT. and Kendrick Lamar and SZAs Luther.

APT. secured the top position across multiple Apple Music charts, including Top Songs of 2025: Global, Top 100: Shazam, Top 100: Global Radio, and Top 100: Lyrics. Released in October 2024, the song quickly became a major success for both artists and is nominated for Song and Record of the Year at the 2026 Grammy Awards.

Meanwhile, Luther claimed the second spot on the Top Songs of 2025: Global chart, experiencing a surge in popularity following Lamar and SZAs Super Bowl performance earlier this year. Kendrick Lamar had five tracks in the Top 25, more than any other artist, including his May 2024 diss track aimed at Drake, Not Like Us. SZA had three tracks in the Top 25, ranking her second among artists.

The top five of the global year-end list also featured hits from 2024. Bruno Mars and Lady Gagas Die With a Smile, released in August 2024, was the third most-streamed song, followed by Lamars Not Like Us in fourth place and Billie Eilishs May 2024 release Birds of a Feather in fifth.

Notable entries on the year-end charts include Grammy-nominated Best New Artist contenders Lola Young and Alex Warren. Youngs Messy and Warrens Ordinary both reached the top five on the Global Radio chart as well as the Top 100: Shazam chart.

Among songs released in 2025, the K-pop breakout hit Golden by the fictional group Huntr/x gained traction on Apple Musics Lyrics and Sing charts, becoming a favorite for karaoke enthusiasts.

Apple Musics year-end charts coincide with the release of Apple Replay 25, which allows users to review their listening habits from the past year.
