Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola, known for her role on the reality series Jersey Shore, has married Justin May, as confirmed by an MTV spokesperson. The wedding took place at the Park Chateau Estate & Gardens in East Brunswick, New Jersey, and was attended by most of the show's cast.

Giancola, an original cast member who appeared on Jersey Shore from 2009 to 2012, previously dated her co-star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. She initially skipped the early seasons of the reunion series Jersey Shore Family Vacation but later appeared on the show and the spinoff Snooki & JWoww.

Her relationship with May became public in November 2021, and they announced their engagement in April 2004. Giancola shared on social media, describing the engagement as "the easiest question I've ever answered" and expressing her joy and love for May.

The couple has a son, Vincent Keith May, born on August 20, whom Giancola referred to as "my rainbow miracle baby" after facing years of infertility struggles. She revealed during a 2024 episode of her reality show that they had previously experienced a miscarriage. Giancola emphasized that they were simply grateful for a healthy child, regardless of gender.

The wedding included blue cannons along the Seaside boardwalk, a location deeply connected to the cast, including Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Paul "Pauly D" DelVecchio, Jen "JWoww" Farley, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Vinny Guadagnino, Angelina Pivarnick, and Deena Nicole Cortese.
