Santa Fun Run Cancelled Due to Weather Forecast.

The popular Santa Fun Run in Plymouth has been cancelled due to forecasts predicting strong winds and heavy rain. Organiser Roger Punch announced on Saturday night that large sections of the route would be vulnerable to the severe weather conditions.

Punch described the cancellation as a "tough call," emphasizing that the safety of all participants was the top priority.

The event, organised by the Saltram Rotary Club with support from the Plymouth Waterfront Partnership, was set to raise funds for local charities Shekinah and Jeremiah's Journey.

This years run had achieved a record turnout, with all 1,000 available participant spots filled.
