Stranger Things Bringing Back '80s Peanut Butter Snack

The Netflix sensation Stranger Things continues to revive '80s nostalgia, influencing everything from fashion trends to, most notably, classic snacks. The series has previously brought attention to New Coke, reignited debates over pineapple pizza, and even inspired a unique Doritos flavor: Stranger Pizza X Cool Ranch. Now, the final season has inspired a revival of a discontinued peanut butter snack from the '80s: Boppers.

Nature Valley is reintroducing its Fudge Chip Peanut Butter Boppers. These snacks feature a peanut butter center wrapped in rice cereal and chocolate chips, maintaining the same taste fans remember (or are discovering for the first time). The packaging has been redesigned with a Stranger Things theme, while the snack itself remains unchanged since it vanished from shelves in 1989 over three decades ago.

Although Boppers wont be available in stores, they can be purchased online at sreppob.com (boppers spelled backward, a nod to Stranger Things). Each order costs $19.87 and includes a Boppers T-shirt and a collectible recipe card. From December 5 to 8, Nature Valley will also give away 250 packages through the website. Additionally, on December 8, a recipe will be released for those who want to make their own Peanut Butter Boppers at home.

The first part of Stranger Things final season is already streaming on Netflix, with the second part arriving on Christmas, and the series finale set for December 31 at 5 p.m. PST. Fans can now enjoy these nostalgic treats while diving back into an alternate '80s world full of adventure, chocolate, and peanut butter.
