Sydney Sweeney Throws a Friendsgiving Party with a "Shrek" Theme

While many are already getting into the holiday spirit with Christmas trees and stockings, Sydney Sweeney remained fully immersed in Halloween vibes. Just before Thanksgiving last week, the Euphoria actress organized a unique Friendsgiving event, giving a creative twist to the usual food-centric celebration by asking all her friends to dress as characters from Shrek.

Held in a castle-inspired venue, Sweeney embraced the role of Dragon. She wore a red corset-style bodysuit with a sparkling trim and a tail attached, complemented by spiked sleeves, knee-high stockings, pointed heels, and a pair of artificial wings. To complete the look, she added a horn-shaped headband. In the story, Dragon starts off as an antagonist but eventually becomes Donkeys love interest. In a playful homage, Sweeney shared a video showing her twerking on a friend dressed as Donkeylikely featuring Scooter Braun under the costume.

Other guests embodied iconic characters such as Lord Farquaad, the Gingerbread Man, and Puss in Boots. The celebration didnt stop at one evening; Sweeney extended Friendsgiving into a full week of festivities, which included a Disney World trip, seaside dinners, late-night karaoke sessions, and even a makeshift spelling bee.

Earlier, the Anyone But You star had hinted at her Shrek-inspired gathering during a Good Morning America appearance. She revealed that every attendee had been assigned a character and was expected to arrive in full costume. Clearly, everyone followed through with the plan.

It remains to be seen if Sweeney will make this themed Friendsgiving an annual tradition.
