Top Dawg Entertainment is gearing up for its annual holiday charity event in 2025, with performances from SZA, Doechii, and other label stars. The full lineup, announced Thursday, includes ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Isaiah Rashad, SiR, Ray Vaughn, Ab-Soul, Zacari, and Kal Banx, all set to perform at Nickerson Gardens in Watts, California, for the 12th Annual TDE Holiday Charity Concert and Community Celebration. Additional surprise guests are expected to join the show.
The concert is scheduled for December 18, followed by TDEs yearly community giveback the next day. Activities will include toy distribution, raffles, youth sports, barbering services, holiday-themed photo spots, a snow experience, and on-site job opportunities. Attendees are encouraged to bring a donation, such as unwrapped toys, new clothing, or essential items, to gain entry.
Last years celebration attracted 10,000 guests and collected roughly $750,000 in donated toys and clothing, with performances by SZA, Kendrick Lamar, and GloRilla. Over the years, the event has grown into a signature weekend for TDE, showcasing the labels commitment to giving back to the community that inspired its founding by Anthony Top Dawg Tiffith.
In 2025, SZA and Kendrick Lamar dominated the Billboard Hot 100 with their 13-week No. 1 hit Luther, while Doechii made Grammy history as the third woman to win Best Rap Album for Alligator Bites Never Heal and later received Billboards Woman of the Year award. Additionally, TDE president Anthony Moosa Tiffith, son of Top Dawg, earned a spot on Billboards 40 Under 40 list.
Analysis: The 12th Annual TDE Holiday Charity Concert – A Commitment to Giving Back
Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) continues its long-standing tradition of community engagement with its 12th Annual Holiday Charity Concert, scheduled for December 18, 2025. The label's dedication to uplifting the Watts neighborhood is evident not only through its star-studded performances but also through its tangible impact on local residents. TDE has consistently demonstrated that its influence extends beyond the music industry, focusing on making a difference in the community that helped shape the label's success.
The lineup for the upcoming event is a testament to the label's success and diversity. With SZA, Doechii, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Isaiah Rashad, and other major artists from the roster participating, the concert promises to be an unforgettable experience for fans. This year's event will likely surpass last year's success, which saw a turnout of 10,000 attendees and an impressive $750,000 in donations. Such figures speak volumes about the generosity of the TDE community and the enduring popularity of its artists.
Beyond the music, the charity event's community activities highlight TDE's holistic approach to giving back. The inclusion of job opportunities, youth sports, and other interactive services underscores the label’s commitment to addressing the various needs of the community. By offering these resources, TDE goes beyond mere charity; it provides individuals with the tools and opportunities to improve their lives.
The success of the event also showcases the growth of TDE as a label, not only in terms of its musical output but in its ability to create a lasting social impact. The presence of surprise guests and the continued support for local organizations indicate that TDE's community initiative will keep evolving, ensuring that it remains an annual fixture that the community can rely on for both entertainment and support.
Looking forward to 2025, the impact of this event is poised to extend even further, especially with the ongoing success of TDE artists like SZA, Kendrick Lamar, and Doechii. With TDE’s strategic focus on both artistic excellence and social responsibility, it’s clear that their holiday event is not just a celebration of music, but a powerful reminder of the label's mission to give back.
