Tara Reid Shares Her Experience After Police Confirm No Evidence of Drugging at Chicago Hotel: ‘Horrifying Experience’

Tara Reid has spoken publicly about an incident at a Rosemont, Illinois hotel on November 23, where she claims she was drugged by an unknown individual and later removed on a stretcher. Despite this, authorities reported that there is no video evidence supporting her claim.

Reid filed a police report on November 25, stating that after having a single drink at the DoubleTree Chicago OHare Airport Rosemont, she was approached by a man who introduced himself as Sean P, a well-known influencer and YouTuber. She alleges that he joined her at the bar, and later, a napkin was placed over her drink. Reid said the next memory she had was waking up in a hospital more than eight hours later, with no recollection of the events in between.

In response, the Rosemont Public Safety Department told media outlets on December 3 that surveillance footage did not show any tampering with her drink. They confirmed, however, that a bartender had covered her drink when she left the bar, which is standard procedure.

Reid, 50, described the experience as the scariest feeling I have ever felt, saying she felt helpless and that the incident has had a severe impact on her mental health. I cannot sleep over this; its terrifying not knowing what happened to me. I believe I was drugged. Something happened to me, she stated.

The investigation remains ongoing as authorities and Reid await hospital test results. Police have indicated that they are unable to confirm which tests were conducted and have noted that no criminal act has been officially identified, nor is there an active suspect under investigation. They also reminded the public to avoid leaving drinks unattended.

Video footage obtained by media outlets showed Reid appearing unable to stand without assistance, while a wheelchair was brought to transport her. Her agent later picked her up from the hospital, and she returned to Los Angeles after retrieving her belongings from the hotel.

Reid also alleged that the influencer sent her videos the following day, which she considered an attempted extortion, claiming he suggested he could prevent the videos from being released. The Rosemont police reported that after speaking with the individual, there was no evidence that any drinks were tampered with.

The DoubleTree Chicago OHare Airport confirmed that hotel staff immediately assisted Reid when they noticed a health concern, providing medical support as needed.
