Times Square was transformed into a festive scene reminiscent of a classic holiday film as Peter Billingsley, known for his role as Ralphie in "A Christmas Story," and Raising Canes founder Todd Graves gifted 500 brand-new bicycles to the Boys & Girls Club of Harlem. The celebration attracted hundreds of children and featured movie-themed attractions, including leg lamps, Santa Claus, exclusive "A Christmas Story" plush puppies, digital movie downloads, and Raising Canes signature fresh Chicken Fingers. Other celebrities, such as Olivia Ponton, Luann de Lesseps, Rachel Fuda, Austen Kroll, Joe Amabile, and Nick Barrotta, also joined the fun, but it was Adams connection with the kids that left the biggest impression.

At the heart of the event, Raising Canes recreated scenes from "A Christmas Story," offering bikes, helmets, and festive treats. The Times Square flagship restaurant even featured a themed holiday window display, acclaimed by Time Out as NYCs top display for the second consecutive year. Iconic movie propsincluding Billingsleys original pink bunny suit, cowboy outfit, and Red Ryder BB gunwere displayed publicly for the first time, transported directly from his personal collection.
Adams expressed how rewarding it was to witness the childrens happiness. Any opportunity that allows a child to feel valued, seen, and celebrated is something I want to be part of, she said. She emphasized that even small acts of kindness can leave a lasting impact, recalling her personal experiences with the power of generosity.
Keeping the Holiday Spirit Alive
Children attending the event also received limited-edition plush puppies and digital codes to watch "A Christmas Story" at home, extending the holiday excitement beyond Times Square. Adams reflected on the events emotional impact, noting, Seeing a childs face light up is one of the purest joys in life. Moments like these are why I dedicate time to supporting kids causes.

When asked about her favorite holiday movie, Adams shared her love for "Home Alone," confessing she had already watched it twice this season. She also mentioned enjoying "The Holiday" and the underrated "The Family Stone."
Looking ahead, Adams described 2025 as a period of defrosting, with 2026 promising growth and new opportunities. I feel back, and so much good is on the horizon, she said, reflecting a positive outlook for the coming year.
Raising Canes Annual Bike Giveaway
Now in its sixth year, Raising Canes holiday bike initiative brought 100 Canes-branded bikes and helmets to Times Square as part of the 500 total bikes donated to the Harlem Boys & Girls Club. This program aims to empower youth by fostering confidence, creating opportunities, and helping them reach their potential. Across nearly 30 markets nationwide, more than 4,000 bikes will be distributed through the campaign, ensuring that countless children experience the joy of receiving a first bike.
