The upcoming four-part series of Beatles biopics, directed by Sam Mendes and produced by Sony, has added several key figures from the bands personal and professional circles. The newly announced cast members include family, road staff, and music industry associates.

David Morrissey will portray Jim McCartney, Paul McCartneys father, while Leanne Best takes on the role of John Lennons Aunt Mimi. Bobby Schofield has been cast as Neil Aspinall, the bands road manager and close confidant. Daniel Hoffman-Gill joins as Mal Evans, one of the Beatles roadies. Arthur Darvill will play Derek Taylor, the bands press officer and friend, and Adam Pally will appear as Allen Klein, the bands contentious music manager.

Previously confirmed, Harry Lloyd will portray the Beatles legendary producer George Martin, and James Norton will take on the role of Brian Epstein, the bands influential manager. Additional central characters, including Cynthia Lennon and Ravi Shankar, will be announced later.

These new cast members join the lead ensemble: Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Harrison Dickinson as John Lennon, Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr, and Joseph Quinn as George Harrison. Supporting roles include Saoirse Ronan as Linda McCartney, Anna Sawai as Yoko Ono, Aimee Lou Wood as Pattie Boyd, and Mia McKenna-Bruce as Maureen Starkey.

Produced under Mendes Neal Street Productions, the four films will present the story of the Beatles from the perspective of each band member. The scripts are written by Jez Butterworth, Peter Straughan, and Jack Thorne, with Mendes directing all four installments. Mendes produces alongside Pippa Harris and Julie Pastor, with Alexandra Derbyshire also serving as producer.

Sony Pictures will finance and distribute the series worldwide, with a full theatrical release scheduled for April 2028.
