  3. The Explanation of HGTV's Lyndsay Lamb's Illness and Recent Events

Lyndsay Lamb and her twin sister, Leslie Davis, became familiar faces on HGTV when Unsellable Houses launched in 2019. The fifth season wrapped in 2024, and while a sixth season has yet to be announced, the pair continue to connect with viewers online. Over the years, fans have learned not only about their design work but also about Lambs health journey.

Lyndsay Lambs Health Update

In 2024, fans noticed a visible change in Lambs appearance, which led her to discuss her condition on the Lamb & Company podcast. She revealed that she lives with connective tissue disorders as well as autoimmune diseases, including lupus. The chronic issues often cause intense pain and debilitating migraines.

Because of her disorder, Lamb explained that her organs have increased elasticity and can shift, making travel especially difficult. She has spent time in hospitals after trips over the years and was once prescribed more than a dozen medications. She experienced cycles of weight fluctuation as doctors attempted to find the right treatment approach.

In her late 30s, Lamb turned to integrative medicine, combining traditional care with holistic practices and dietary changes. Before beginning treatment, she underwent a full detox to taper off several long-term medications. She then slowly reintroduced foods, beginning with a simplified diet to determine which items her body could tolerate.

Her current lifestyle includes gluten-free eating, limited dairy, no meat, and minimal sugar. The changes helped reduce the need for multiple medications and improved her sleep, weight stability, and chronic headaches.

Her Sons Diagnosis

Her son, Miles, received a Hodgkins lymphoma diagnosis at age seven in 2013. After undergoing chemotherapy and additional treatment, he was declared cancer-free by the end of the same year and remains in remission. Miles recently married his wife, Jenna.

During his treatment, Lamb stepped away from work to care for him, leading Davis to earn her real estate license and take over the business. Once Miles recovered, the sisters resumed working together.

Family Life

Lamb has been married to her husband, Justin, since 2001. The couple met as high school students in Snohomish, Washington, where they continue to live today.
