Every story behind these awards is compelling and inspiring.

Pharrell Williams was a standout of the evening, receiving the Shoe of the Year Award for his Virginia Adistar Jellyfish sneaker. In his acceptance, he shared a heartfelt message on resilience and authenticity, reflecting on his upbringing in Virginia, early struggles, and first pair of sneakers from his McDonalds paycheck. He also addressed recent media misinterpretations about his comments on politics, emphasizing his commitment to supporting Black and brown entrepreneurs through his Black Ambition initiative, which has contributed over $85 million to date.

Tommy Hilfiger, awarded the Lifetime Achievement honor, highlighted the role of philanthropy and cultural engagement in shaping his brand. Presented by Patrick Schwarzenegger, Hilfigers influence on fashion and pop culture was celebrated as a model of sustained creativity and vision.

Tennis star Coco Gauff, recognized as Style Influencer of the Year, introduced the Collaboration of the Year award, which went to New Balance and Miu Miu. Actress Storm Reid praised Gauff for using her platform to positively impact her community both on and off the court.

Other honorees, including Person of the Year Ronnie Fieg and Retailer of the Year Pete Nordstrom, reflected on the support of their families in shaping their careers and success. Nordstrom noted, No matter what happened with the company, where we went, and what we achieved, everything always came back to shoes.
