'This is Incredible': Gwyneth Paltrow's Children's Reaction to Timothée Chalamet's Kiss

Gwyneth Paltrow is set to star alongside Timothe Chalamet in Josh Safdies upcoming film Marty Supreme, which includes a scene where the two share a kiss. The actress recently shared that her children had very different reactions to watching their mother in that moment with the younger actor.

When asked about their responses, Paltrow explained that her daughter, Apple, 21, was enthusiastic, describing the scene as awesome, while her son, Moses, 19, was less comfortable and expressed his embarrassment. She noted that although her children might be shocked by a romantic scene, they are now old enough to separate the on-screen performance from her role as their mother.

Paltrow reflected on their perspective, mentioning that historically her kids preferred seeing her at home rather than in films, making the experience of watching her act a new one for them. She found humor in their reactions, acknowledging that they would likely be surprised or uncomfortable during intimate scenes, but still interested in seeing the completed film.

In Marty Supreme, Paltrow portrays Kay Stone, a retired, affluent actress who develops a surprising connection with Marty Mauser, played by Chalamet, an ambitious young ping pong player. The film premiered at the 2025 New York Film Festival on October 6, 2025, receiving strong praise, particularly for Chalamets performance, and is scheduled for theatrical release in the U.S. on December 25, 2025. This project marks Paltrows return to acting after a break since 2019.
