Tig Notaro is collaborating with Zack Snyder on a 'Hot Lesbian Action' movie

Comedian and actor Tig Notaro is embarking on an exciting new collaboration with director Zack Snyder. During her appearance on the December 1 episode of the podcast On With Kara Swisher, Notaro discussed her experience in Snyders 2021 action film Army of the Dead, where she stepped in to replace comedian Chris DElia, leading to unexpected results.

I went viral for being sexy in this film, Notaro shared. It was completely surprising. My phone wouldnt stop buzzing, and I wasnt expecting this kind of attention. I reached out to Zack and said, People across all spectrums are saying I look hot in this movie.

This unexpected reaction sparked the idea for a new project, which Snyder enthusiastically supported. Notaro explained, What if we just went all in and everyones a hot lesbian? He immediately said, Absolutely, lets make that film. Were currently developing the script. Imagine the poster: the title of the film and underneath it, Hot Lesbian Action. Thats exactly how I pitched it to him over Zoom.

She revealed some early details about the project, currently titled Deviants. The story is set in a bygone era, featuring characters living as closeted deviants, Notaro said.

In addition to this new film, Notaro recently voiced a bear in the box office hit Zootopia 2 and is returning as Jett Reno in the upcoming series Star Trek: Starfleet Academy.
