Video: Gellar searches for Weaving, Newton in new 'Ready or Not 2' trailer

Dec. 3 Searchlight Pictures unveiled the trailer for Ready or Not 2: Here I Come on Wednesday, with the movie set to hit theaters on April 10. The preview continues the story immediately following the original film, where Grace (Samara Weaving) survived a deadly game of Hide and Seek with her new in-laws. Now, the expanded Le Domas clan is seeking revenge.

In the trailer, a lawyer (Elijah Wood) reveals that the victor of this second game will gain control over the world. Grace resists, but her sister (Kathryn Newton) is kidnapped, forcing both of them into the deadly contest. The new Le Domas family includes Sarah Michelle Gellar, Kevin Durand, Shawn Hatosy, Nestor Carbonell, David Cronenberg, Olivia Cheng, Varun Saranga, Juan Pablo Romero, Maa Lizdek, Nadeem Umar-Khitab, Antony Hall, and Daniel Beirne.

The trailer features intense moments, including a head explosion, showing the brutal fate of the Le Domases Grace did not eliminate before sunrise in the first film. Samara Weaving returns as Grace, with Kathryn Newton also reprising her role. Directors Matt Bettinelli and Tyler Gillett, along with screenwriters Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy, return for the sequel.

Ready or Not 2: Here I Come will be released in theaters on April 10.
