Watch: Prince Harry seeks Christmas movie role on 'Late Show'

On Wednesday night, Prince Harry made a playful appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, sparking laughter as he teased the idea of starring in a holiday romantic comedy. Interrupting Colberts monologue about the surge of festive films featuring fictional royalty, Harry joked, I thought this was the audition for The Gingerbread Prince Saves Christmas in Nebraska.

Colbert replied with a deadpan response: That sounds like a fantastic movie, but youre an actual prince. Why would you want to be in one of those films?

Harry responded, Well, Americans love Christmas movies, and theres clearly a fascination with royalty here, so why not?

The host playfully pushed back, I wouldnt say were obsessed with royalty. Harry countered, Really? I heard you elected a king. Colbert laughed, admitting, Thats a fair point.

The audience reacted with a mix of cheers and laughter to the exchange.

Additionally, Harry and Meghan Markle feature in a special holiday episode of her Netflix series With Love, Meghan, which was released the same day.
