Watch 'Weird Al' Yankovic join Portugal. The Man for a cover of Rage Against the Machine

During a recent New York City performance, Portugal. The Man delivered a surprising rendition of Rage Against the Machines iconic "Killing in the Name," joined on stage by parody legend 'Weird Al' Yankovic. The collaboration, which took place on Tuesday, offered a high-energy, non-comedic take on the classic rock anthem.

The performance also included an unexpected appearance by filmmaker and The Lonely Island member Jorma Taccone, dressed as Pee-wee Herman, adding a whimsical twist to the show. Video clips of the performance are available on Portugal. The Mans Instagram account.

Portugal. The Man and 'Weird Al' Yankovic share a history of musical collaboration. In 2020, they released "Who's Gonna Stop Me," marking Yankovic's first venture into non-comedic music. Previously, in 2018, Al created remixes of PTM tracks including "Feel It Still" and "Live in the Moment."

Portugal. The Man is currently touring in support of their latest album, SHISH, which features the single "Tanana."
