Who was Eliminated on 'Survivor 49' Tonight? Time for Payback!

As Survivor 49 nears its finale, the remaining seven contestants are plotting intensely. Some are weighing who they want beside them in the final, even if it means betraying close allies. Others are maneuvering carefully around hidden idols and game advantages. And a few are letting emotions guide their decisions, seeking not just to eliminate threats, but to settle scores along the way.

Tonights Eliminated Contestant

Sophie Segreti entered Survivor 49 as the female alternate from Season 48, eager to make her second Fiji experience count. Early in the season, Sophie avoided Tribal Council and quickly made a name for herself as one of the strongest competitors in challenges. Even while safe, she was determined to drive her own strategy rather than follow others.

Her bold move to call for a safety vote on Jawan Pitts during a split Tribal Council sparked a chain reaction, leading her to target her former ally, Hina Chukwujekwu. While her original tribemates were shocked by her survival, Sophie reacted by breaking from her initial alliance and aligning with an underdog trio. She continued to try playing multiple sides, setting her sights on eliminating Savannah Louie.

Despite her efforts to maneuver the game, Sophie underestimated the threat posed by her strong challenge record and Sage Ahrens-Nichols vengeance. Her plans backfired, and she was blindsided in a unanimous vote, leaving the game earlier than she expected.

Advantages Played or Found

Tonights episode also featured new opportunities for advantages. Steven Ramm took on a physically demanding mission around the island to retrieve a code, ultimately earning a Block-a-Vote advantage. Steven, along with Rizo Velovic, chose not to use their advantages during this Tribal Council.

Alliance Shifts and Strategy

Meanwhile, Sophi Balerdi, who had joined the Uli tribe after leaving her previous Kele tribe, solidified her alliance in the premerge. Along with Rizo and Savannah, she had been navigating tight spots, avoiding early elimination. This week, she openly discussed her position in relation to major threats, contemplating potential moves against Savannah to improve her odds at the million-dollar prize.
