West Midlands Ambulance Service has reported that a pedestrian lost her life in Worcestershire after being struck by a vehicle. Emergency crews were dispatched to Droitwich Road, close to the Bull Inn in Fernhill Heath, at 17:50 GMT on Sunday.
Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, and the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car arrived at the scene. Responders found the woman in extremely serious condition, and despite advanced life-saving efforts, she was pronounced dead on-site.
West Mercia Police have been approached for further information regarding the incident.
