Surgeons and patients will discuss groundbreaking medical technologies used in cancer care during a special showcase event at Keele University. The technologies are currently being applied in north Staffordshire and beyond, offering new hope to patients with head and neck cancers.

Professor Ajith George, consultant head and neck surgeon and thyroid lead at Royal Stoke University Hospital, who also serves as honorary professor of surgery at Keele, will guide visitors through the innovative technology. Organisers noted that surgeons from across the UK come to Keele School of Medicine to train and practice procedures using cutting-edge medical and virtual reality technologies.
