Starz has revealed six actors joining the upcoming prequel series "Power: Origins", including a familiar face from "Power Book III: Raising Kanan". Jason Dirden will return as Traymont Stinson, reprising his role from the previous installment.

Other cast members include:

  • Jennifer Ferrin ("Hell on Wheels") as Kate Egan, Tommy's mother
  • Lizzy DeClement ("New Amsterdam") as nurse Jill Wexler

The series will explore the early lives of Ghost, Tommy, and Kanan, portraying them as ambitious young entrepreneurs on the rise. The first season will consist of 18 episodes and is currently being filmed in New Jersey.
