Kaley Cuoco is looking to bring a new dimension to her career! The Big Bang Theory star, 39, told PEOPLE that she and her fianc, actor Tom Pelphrey, are eager to find a project they can work on together. Were actively searching. It has to be the right one, she said during an Oh Norman! adoption event hosted by The Amanda Foundation in Los Angeles on Friday, Nov. 7. It has to be special, and theres no one Id rather collaborate with than Tom.

Cuoco added, Honestly, I get a little jealous of everyone who gets to work with him because hes the best.

Pelphrey, 43, known for his role in Task, shares a 2-year-old daughter, Matilda, with Cuoco. He told PEOPLE in September that while they are interested in teaming up, the project must be the perfect fit. Kaley tends to lean toward comedic roles, he joked, and people usually dont let me within ten feet of comedy.

Responding to that, Cuoco suggested, Can we find a middle ground? Maybe a dark comedy? Pelphrey agreed, acknowledging, Okay, that would work. Plus, he doesnt always realize how funny he is.

Pelphrey also noted that even though they share the same profession, their approaches feel very different. Its like were doing two entirely separate jobs, he explained in an exclusive PEOPLE in 10 interview. Were figuring out how to combine those differences and find the right project. Were definitely interested, but we havent found the perfect fit yet.

The couple got engaged in August 2024, more than a year after welcoming Matilda. Reflecting on his current life back in September, Pelphrey described it with a single word: heaven. There are challenges, but if someone had told me 15 years ago that Id be with the love of my life, have the most perfect child, and do work I love, it wouldve seemed impossible. You really are living your dream, and Im very aware of that, he said.
