Vanessa Hudgens has stepped into a new chapter of life, now enjoying being a family of four. The former Disney star confirmed the birth of her second child with husband Cole Tucker, 29, in a social media post on November 29.
Sharing her excitement on Instagram, Hudgens wrote, "Well. I did it. Had another baby!!!" alongside a photo of herself in a hospital bed, holding hands with the MLB athlete. She added a heartfelt message about motherhood, praising the strength of all mothers.
This joyful announcement follows Vanessa's pregnancy reveal on July 12, which featured a maternity photo shoot. In the post, she captioned the images, "Round two," showing herself and Cole in coordinated white outfits, with the couple pointing to her baby bump.
The couple, who married in Mexico in December 2023 after going public with their relationship on Instagram in February 2021, welcomed their first child last year. The name and gender of their firstborn have remained private.
Balancing Career and Motherhood
Despite her children being young, Vanessa has a clear vision for sharing her work with them. She told E! News in May 2024 that her career choices have been guided by wanting content suitable for her children to watch as they grow.
She filmed projects like season 11 of The Masked Singer and Bad Boys: Ride or Die while pregnant with her first child, humorously calling it having "a little action baby."
Reflecting on her life after becoming a parent, Hudgens shared in November 2024 that she has become more practical, focusing on reducing unnecessary stress and chaos.
Romantic Journey with Cole Tucker
Vanessa met Cole during a group meditation call amid the COVID-19 pandemic, later discovering his Instagram and connecting with him the following day. They publicly shared their relationship on Valentine's Day 2021 with an Instagram post, three months after initial romance rumors surfaced.
The couple made red carpet appearances together, including premieres of Vanessas projects in Hollywood and New York, attended the Screen Actors Guild Awards, and celebrated milestones such as MLB opening days and holidays with playful Instagram posts.
They announced their engagement on February 9, 2023, and wed on December 2, 2023, in Tulum, Mexico, with around 100 guests including close friends and former co-stars from High School Musical. Vanessas friends and family participated as bridesmaids, creating an intimate and memorable ceremony.
Family Expansion
Vanessa revealed her first pregnancy on the 2024 Oscars red carpet, and a source confirmed the birth of their first child on July 3, 2024. In July 2025, the couple announced they were expecting their second child, posting, "Round two!!!!" on Instagram.
