A different version of 'White Christmas'? Listen to Scotty McCreery's perspective

Scotty McCreery has introduced a fresh rendition of the timeless Irving Berlin song "White Christmas" under the Triple Tigers label. Despite the songs numerous previous versions, McCreery believes his interpretation brings a distinctive charm influenced by The Drifters and Elvis Presley.

"I felt a bit anxious about recording this because the song is so special to me during the holiday season," Scotty shared with ABC Audio. "I had a version in my head that I would sing in the shower or while doing chores, and I wanted to make sure it wasnt lost in the recording process."

He continued, "When I got into the studio, I sang it for the band exactly as I imagined it and said, Lets build the music around this. They really delivered."

"I understand its another rendition of 'White Christmas,' but this is my personal version," he added. "I hope people enjoy it."

This latest release is part of McCreerys ongoing holiday music collection, which began with 2011s Christmas with Scotty McCreery and includes 2023's Feel Like the Holidays.
