Olivia Dean secures refunds for fans by exposing ticket resellers

Olivia Dean took the stage at BST Hyde Park in London in July 2025, and recently she has made waves offstage as well. After raising concerns about inflated ticket resale prices, one of the major ticket platforms is now offering refunds to fans.

Her U.S. tour sold out within minutes on November 21, but tickets quickly appeared on resale websites for $1,000 or more. Expressing her frustration on Instagram, Olivia criticized the platforms, saying they were providing a "disgusting service" and that the resale pricing was "vile and completely against our wishes," emphasizing that live music should remain "affordable and accessible."

She also addressed her audience directly, apologizing for the situation and assuring them that her team was investigating the issue. Olivia stressed that she does not want any fans to be "scammed or overcharged" for her shows.

Her concerns prompted a response from Ticketmaster, which announced that it would cap all future resale prices for Olivia Deans The Art of Loving Live tour and refund fans who had already paid inflated prices on its platform.

Sharing the update on Instagram, Olivia highlighted the broader problem with secondary ticket markets, calling them "exploitative and unregulated" and urging the industry to protect its community and fans.
