FBI Spokesperson Expresses Outrage at MS NOW Journalists for Reporting Kash Patel Made Agent Drive Girlfriend's Drunk Friend

During a recent public appearance, FBI Assistant Director for Public Affairs, Ben Williamson, strongly criticized a MS NOW article alleging that FBI Director Kash Patel directed agents to drive a friend of his girlfriend, Alexis Wilkins, who was reportedly intoxicated. Williamson labeled the report as completely false and hogwash.

The MS NOW story, written by Ken Dilanian and Carol Leonnig, claimed that Wilkins had asked FBI personnel assigned to her security detail on multiple occasions, including earlier this year, to transport her inebriated friend. According to the report, the agents objected to being reassigned, but Patel allegedly insisted they comply, even reportedly yelling at the lead of the security team.

Williamson countered these claims on X, stating that he first learned of the allegation on Tuesday and that both Patel and Wilkins denied the incident. He explained that when he asked the reporters for additional details such as the friends name or the date of the event, they could not provide any, relying solely on anonymous sources.

He further criticized the article for suggesting he refused to answer questions about the story, clarifying that he had indeed responded and that this portion of the report has since been corrected.

This never happened, Williamson emphasized, reiterating that the story was fabricated. MS NOW has updated the piece to note Williamsons denial.
