Harry Enten of CNN uses Donald Trump's favorite word against him in response to a 'stunning' revelation

CNNs senior data analyst, Harry Enten, highlighted a remarkable decline in backing for former President Donald Trump among Americans under 30 during Thursdays segment on OutFront with Erin Burnett. Enten emphasized that this age group had been crucial to Trumps 2024 election success.

Recent polling reveals a stark fall in Trumps net approval among young voters, dropping from +10 in February to 46 in the latest survey. If I borrow a phrase from the former president, its absolutely YUGE, Enten remarked. Look at this dropits incredible. A 56-point plunge among under-30 voters is virtually unheard of.

Enten added, I spend my days analyzing spreadsheets, and a decline of this magnitude is just astonishing. He described the rapid change in approval as stunning, underscoring the unexpected scale of young voters dissatisfaction.

The data suggests that a demographic once pivotal to Trumps recent electoral success is now overwhelmingly critical of his performance in office.

Analysis: Sharp Decline in Young Voter Support for Trump

Recent data highlighted by CNN’s senior data analyst, Harry Enten, shows a dramatic fall in support for former President Donald Trump among Americans under 30. This demographic, previously key to his 2024 election prospects, now reflects a net approval drop from +10 in February to −46 in the latest survey.

Enten described the 56-point plunge as “virtually unheard of,” emphasizing the speed and magnitude of the shift. Such a sharp reversal indicates that young voters, once a reliable base for Trump, are increasingly critical of his political performance.

The findings signal potential challenges for Trump in mobilizing younger voters in upcoming elections. Analysts may need to reassess the role of this age group in shaping electoral outcomes, given their growing disapproval and disengagement.
