Former First Lady Melania Trump has introduced her new production venture, Muse Films, a name inspired by her Secret Service code name. Alongside this announcement, Trump revealed that her documentary Melania will premiere in cinemas worldwide on January 30, 2026, before becoming available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.

Sharing the news on X, Trump wrote: PRESENTING: MUSE FILMS My new production company. MELANIA, the film, exclusively in theaters worldwide on January 30th, 2026. Her post included a brief 10-second video featuring a visual logo and music representing Muse Films.

The documentary, directed by Brett Ratner, explores Melania Trumps life leading up to the second inauguration of President Donald Trump. Amazon MGM Studios has reportedly purchased distribution rights for $40 million.

The official synopsis describes the film as: Step inside Melania Trumps world as she orchestrates inauguration plans, navigates the complexities of the White House transition, and reenters public life with her family. With exclusive footage capturing critical meetings, private conversations, and never-before-seen environments, Melania showcases Mrs. Trumps return to one of the worlds most powerful roles.

This project marks Ratners first directorial work since facing sexual assault allegations in 2017, which had led Warner Bros. to end its collaboration with his production company, RatPac.

The theatrical release of Melania reflects Amazon MGMs ongoing strategy to produce films for cinemas, with plans to release at least 14 films in theaters throughout 2026.
