Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Who to Drop for Week 14 Pickups

As the fantasy football postseason approaches, its time to trim your rosters and remove underperforming players. Streamlining your team now can create space for potential starters and improve your chances of success.

Heres a list of players worth dropping as we approach the final stretch of the NFL and fantasy season. Some may not apply to larger leagues or teams dealing with bye weeks, but these are largely considered expendable moving forward.

Ricky Pearsall

Returning from a knee injury, Pearsall has recorded only five receptions for 20 yards across three games, translating to a mere 4.7 half-PPR points. With limited fantasy upside and a Week 14 bye, releasing him could free up valuable roster space.

Tony Pollard

Pollard hasnt reached double-digit points in half-PPR scoring since Week 5 and hasnt scored in seven games. Facing Cleveland, followed by matchups against the 49ers and Chiefs, Pollard offers minimal upside. Teams holding onto him, especially 82% of Yahoo managers, may safely move on.

Tre Tucker

After Brock Bowers and Ashton Jeanty, the Raiders' offense offers little for fantasy purposes. Tucker, though the teams most targeted receiver, caught only three passes for 20 yards last week. With challenging matchups against Denver, Philadelphia, and Houston looming, his outlook remains bleak.

Harold Fannin Jr.

David Njoku has been largely replaced in targets by Fannin, who leads the Cleveland offense with 16 targets since Week 11. Njoku has averaged just 0.9 half-PPR points per game during that span, making him a prime candidate for removal from fantasy rosters.

Tez Johnson

With Chris Godwin Jr. back and seeing nine targets over the past two games compared to Johnsons six, plus potential returns from Mike Evans and Jalen McMillan, Johnsons role is likely to diminish. With two matchups against Carolina left, now is the time to cut him.
