A local museum is set to host a charity auction featuring a selection of images from its current exhibition. Chris George, who has spent 50 years photographing the people of Guernsey, has had some of his work displayed in the exhibition titled 'Chris George: 50 Years of Faces.'
The auction presents residents with a unique chance to acquire one of these distinctive portraits. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Guernsey Motor Neurone charity.
The event will take place at the museum in Candie Gardens on Thursday, December 11, from 17:15 to 19:30 GMT.
Susie Hunt of Guernsey Motor Neurone expressed gratitude, saying, "We deeply appreciate Chris George for selecting our charity to benefit from the auction of his remarkable photographs. Every contribution will help support individuals on the island living with MND, and we are sincerely thankful to him and everyone assisting with the auction."
