To celebrate the upcoming opening of the Lake Como EDITION Hotel, DYNE designer Sarah Ysabel Narici has created an exclusive jewelry piece inspired by the hotel's stunning lakeside setting. Drawing from the natural beauty of Lake Como, Narici crafted a necklace that captures both the elegance and serenity of the location.
The bespoke creation, named Verdant Reverie: The Gem of the Alps at The Lake Como EDITION, features an 18-karat yellow gold chain intertwined with mottled jade and a round diamond clasp. The necklaces form mirrors the lakes gentle waves and winding shoreline, while the jade reflects the vibrant green of the surrounding waters.
This singular necklace will be auctioned by Sothebys Fine Jewelry, with bids open until December 11. The winning bidder will receive not only the necklace but also an exclusive two-night stay in a penthouse suite at The Lake Como EDITION. Suites are adorned with Calacatta Turquoise and Calacatta Gold Stone marble and feature restored French balconies with sweeping views of the lake and the Bellagio Hills.
The package includes a private boat tour of Lake Como, a personalized detox treatment at the hotels Longevity Spa, and a dining experience with three-Michelin-starred Chef Mauro Colagreco at his new restaurant, Cetino. The auction estimate for the entire package ranges from $15,000 to $25,000, showcasing a blend of artisanal craftsmanship and immersive luxury.
EDITION Hotels emphasized that this collaboration with Sothebys and DYNE, whose designs were recently seen on Rihanna at the 2025 CFDA Awards, aligns with their vision of merging luxury travel with collectible art. The necklace is described as a striking new addition, much like the Lake Como EDITION itself, intended to capture international acclaim.
The Lake Como EDITION is currently in preview and will officially open in March 2026. This property joins a prestigious global portfolio of EDITION Hotels, including The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon, recently recognized among the Worlds 50 Best Hotels.
This collaboration reflects EDITIONs commitment to redefining modern luxury by thoughtfully embedding contemporary design within the worlds most storied landscapes, said George Fleck, Senior Vice President and Global Brand Leader of EDITION. Through our partnership with Sothebys and DYNE, we offer a celebration of traditional craftsmanship and globally inspired creativity, creating an experience that honors the heritage of Lake Como while remaining uniquely exceptional.
Author’s Commentary: A Fusion of Craftsmanship and Experiential Luxury
The collaboration between DYNE designer Sarah Ysabel Narici and The Lake Como EDITION exemplifies how contemporary jewelry design can complement luxury hospitality. Narici’s necklace, “Verdant Reverie: The Gem of the Alps at The Lake Como EDITION,” translates the natural beauty of Lake Como into wearable art, reflecting both the lake’s colors and contours.
By linking the auction of this unique piece to an immersive luxury experience—including a penthouse stay, private boat tour, spa treatments, and a dining event with Chef Mauro Colagreco—the project elevates the concept of collectible luxury. It positions the necklace not only as a piece of jewelry but as a gateway to a fully curated experience.
From a broader perspective, this initiative underscores EDITION Hotels’ strategy of merging high-end travel with bespoke art and craftsmanship. It is a clear statement that modern luxury is increasingly defined by the intersection of tangible design and memorable experiences, rather than mere accommodation or ornamentation.
As the Lake Como EDITION prepares for its March 2026 opening, collaborations like this one will likely set a precedent for how hotels can engage international audiences through limited-edition offerings that combine artistry, heritage, and exclusivity.
