Saying Goodbye to Orange Goblin: One of Britain's Most Talented and Eccentric Bands

While Orange Goblin's final bow may not carry the same emotional weight as Ozzy Osbourne's recent farewell, their departure will still leave a significant gap in the heavy metal scene. The band's legacy is defined by its unapologetic energy, an essence that many believe is missing in modern rock music.

These days, everyone takes themselves way too seriously, reflects Chris. Where's the band you can lose yourself with, sing along to without a care, and maybe even spill your drink on the person next to you?

For Ben, Orange Goblin's journey has always been about staying true to themselves. "We've done everything on our own terms, no matter how many mistakes we've made or how naive we might have been," he says. "We've never been part of any trend, never tried to be cool, and most importantly, we've never compromised. Not many bands can claim that.

The band's farewell tour is still underway, with tonights performance in Manchester before they wrap up their final shows at the Kentish Town Forum on December 17.
