Activist receives jail sentence for stealing chickens from poultry plant

A 23-year-old animal rights activist from Berkeley, California, has been sentenced to 90 days in county jail for taking four live chickens from a Perdue Farms facility in 2023, according to prosecutors. Zoe Rosenberg was ordered to surrender to the Sonoma County jail by December 10, following her sentencing on December 3.
