In the latest installment of The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian shared insight into her current dynamic with her former husband, Kanye West. The episode aired on Thursday and included a follow-up brain scan for the Skims founder, after her previous aneurysm scare, alongside her sister's ex, Scott Disick.

During their conversation, Kardashian expressed her frustrations regarding West. By the way, Im sorry about all that youre going through. It looks stressful, Disick remarked without mentioning West by name. Kardashian responded, It is hard, later adding in a confessional that West is very loud out there right now. She explained, I just cant really engage. I think its just for the better.

Kardashian and West were married from 2014 to 2022 and have four children together: daughters North, 12, and Chicago, seven, and sons Saint, nine, and Psalm, six. Kardashian filed for divorce in 2021 after two years of marriage.

On the show, Kardashian refuted claims from West that he had reached out to her directly. She emphasized her desire for a healthy co-parenting relationship and shared her frustration over public comments questioning her role as a mother. Sometimes I just feel like snapping, but I cant. I just cant, she admitted.

Throughout the season, Kardashian has highlighted her focus on protecting their children from Wests unpredictable behavior. Theyre gonna know things. Theyre gonna grow up, theyre gonna see, she stated during the season seven premiere. So, its my job as a mom to make sure that, at a time when that behavior is happening, to make sure theyre protected.

She further clarified that she does not have the option to completely disengage from West. Thats not my reality We have four kids together. Its very confusing because itll be all this talk on the internet like, Im keeping the kids. Hes never once called and asked [to see them], she explained. Kardashian noted the stress of public misconceptions: Then Ill wake up, and its on Twitter that Im keeping the kids when its not true and its not rational I cant engage all the time. She concluded, Its a divorce, not a kidnapping.

Analysis: Kim Kardashian's Struggles with Kanye West in the Public Eye

Kim Kardashian’s recent revelation on "The Kardashians" sheds light on the ongoing tensions in her relationship with ex-husband Kanye West. Their divorce, finalized in 2022 after a tumultuous marriage, remains a subject of public scrutiny. In the latest episode, Kardashian expressed her frustrations with West’s behavior, describing the situation as “hard” and indicating that she feels compelled to disengage from him for the sake of her mental well-being.

Kardashian's comments about the stress she faces in managing both her public image and her co-parenting duties with West are telling. Despite her efforts to maintain a peaceful relationship for the sake of their children, the unpredictability of West’s actions has made it difficult to keep a low profile. Kardashian's refusal to entertain his public claims reflects her need to set boundaries in the face of a highly volatile situation.

The key point here is Kardashian’s desire to protect her children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, from the ongoing drama. She stressed the importance of shielding them from West’s unpredictable behavior, acknowledging that the children will inevitably learn of the circumstances but emphasizing her role in safeguarding their emotional well-being.

The public's ongoing misconceptions about her role as a mother, including false claims about her "keeping the kids," add another layer of frustration. Kardashian pointed out that these distortions only serve to amplify the pressure she faces in an already challenging situation. As she aptly put it, "It's a divorce, not a kidnapping," underscoring the reality that public perception often complicates matters further.

Ultimately, Kardashian’s statements reflect the complex nature of navigating life post-divorce, especially when it involves high-profile figures like Kanye West. The episode serves as a reminder of the emotional toll that public opinion and media portrayal can have on individuals, especially those in the spotlight, who must balance their personal lives with their public personas.
