Authorities in Leicestershire have made a second arrest connected to two recent robberies. One incident involved a man being struck with a belt and coerced into transferring money from his bank account.

The first crime occurred on Bath Lane, Leicester, on Saturday, when police received reports that two men, aged 18 and 19, had entered a residence and assaulted a man inside. Further investigation revealed that another group of men had visited a property in Harborough on the preceding Friday, demanding money transfers and designer clothing from those present.

Earlier, a 19-year-old man was apprehended on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery and released on bail. The second individual, also 19, was detained on Thursday on suspicion of robbery, false imprisonment, and causing actual bodily harm. He is currently being held in custody.

Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding these incidents to contact Leicestershire Police.
