Police called after student brought a skean dhu to school

Authorities were contacted after a student arrived at a private school in Aberdeen carrying a skean dhu, a small ceremonial knife. The event occurred on 26 November at Albyn School.

Police Scotland confirmed that no injuries took place and no threats were made during the incident. A formal report regarding the student will be sent to the appropriate agencies.

Albyn School issued a statement emphasizing that bringing knives or any potentially harmful items onto campus is strictly forbidden. The statement also noted that the student involved will not be returning to the school.
