21 Savage has spoken out, urging Young Thug and Gunna to end their ongoing feud. In a heartfelt message, he declared that it's time to let go of street conflicts, putting personal issues aside for the sake of unity. "Forget the streets," Savage said, calling for peace between the two artists who have been at odds in recent months.
Savage also reached out to Lil Baby, urging him to acknowledge that Young Thug had altered the situation, and that the support from their circle was based on loyalty. He emphasized the importance of moving past the drama and refocusing on their music careers, noting that the situation was only escalating because of misplaced actions from those involved.
In an effort to heal the rift in Atlanta's rap community, Savage revealed that he had even tried to mediate the tensions between Migos members Offset and Quavo. Savage disclosed that he had personally added them to a group chat to encourage dialogue and reconciliation before their differences escalated any further. He posted a message on social media, stating: "@QuavoStuntin @offset, y'all know I put you both on a group text and told you to resolve it before it got too deep. If yall stayed united, theres no limit to what you could achieve."
Along with his attempts to repair fractured relationships, 21 Savage also raised a pressing question: What happened to the streets? This query served as the theme for his new album, which dropped on December 12. The project reflects on the changes hes observed in the street culture he grew up with in Atlanta. Savage believes that the values that once defined the streets have slowly disappeared over time, leading to a loss of unity and trust within the community.
