Deputy refutes allegations following arrest for harassment

The vice-president of Guernsey's leading political committee has firmly denied any misconduct after being taken into custody due to claims of harassment. Deputy Gavin St Pier, alongside his wife Jane St Pier, reported that they were both arrested on Wednesday and subsequently released without any charges.
In an official statement, he emphasized: "We categorically reject any accusation of wrongdoing."
Authorities from the Policy and Resources Committee have been contacted for comment, while police confirmed that their investigation is still active.
