Kate Middleton Reveals Rare Glimpse Into Important Royal Christmas Tradition

Fans of the British royal family are getting an exclusive look at Kate Middleton's festive preparations this holiday season. A recently released video on the Prince and Princess of Wales's official YouTube channel highlights a wreath-making contest. Participants, including Mary Berry from The Great British Bake Off, competed to craft decorations for Middleton's annual "Together at Christmas" carol service, which she has been hosting since 2021.

The video description reads: Celebrate the magic of Christmas at Westminster Abbey with stunning Christmas wreaths created by the Royal Horticultural Society. Courtiers added that this years "Together at Christmas" service brings festive elegance and tradition to one of Londons most iconic locations.

Contributors to the event were thanked for their efforts: A heartfelt thank you to Tom Allen, Dame Mary Berry, Angellica Bell, Simon Lycett, and Arit Anderson for helping make this celebration truly special. Join us as nature, music, and community come together for a joyous Christmas service at Westminster Abbey.

Recently, Middleton also honored Queen Elizabeth II's legacy during a Buckingham Palace state dinner. Alongside King Charles III and other members of the royal family, she welcomed the German president with an official banquet. For the occasion, Middleton wore a sparkling periwinkle gown with a cape by Jenny Packham and paired it with diamond earrings that once belonged to the late Queen, first seen publicly on Middleton in 2011.

These chandelier-style earrings have since become a signature piece for Middleton, appearing at notable events including a 2015 state dinner and the 2017 Royal Variety Performance.
